North Carolina Peace And Justice Voting Still Open!
Voting is still open for the new NC Peace & Justice Coalition steering committee. From an announcement I received the other day:
From April 22-23, 2006, nearly 100 people from across NC with many different organizational affiliations gathered for the statewide founding convention of the NC Peace & Justice Coalition. An interim steering committee facilitated the nomination process to build a new Steering Committee to continue building the capacity and amplifying the voices of North Carolina’s peace & justice community.
Any North Carolina resident who considers themselves part of a peace & justice group or community is invited to vote in this statewide election! Please spread this ballot to your networks!
Vote today for the new steering commitee! See the ballot, candidates and all other pertinent info on the North Carolina Peace & Justice site.
