Why don’t vets get better health care? I don’t agree with this war in Iraq, or most wars actually, but treating our veterans the way we do is ridiculous.VA hospitals are usually overcrowded, and many feel the care at these hospitals is dangerously subpar, though some reports say they’re getting better. And many veterans’ hospitals are facing serious budget issues. But if veterans are so important to us, why don’t they get free health care at any hospital or clinic nearest to them? A lot of veterans have to travel for hours to get treatment at VA hospitals. That’s just not right!
