Article About the National Political Hip Hop Convention Published on HipHopDX
I wrote an article about the recent National Political Hip Hop convention for HipHopDX.com. It was in Chicago, IL from July 20-23, 2006.
I had a great time in Chicago and can’t wait until NHHPC ’08! Currently I’m working on organizing the Triad, North Carolina Local Organizing Committee for the NHHPC. I think this is possibly the biggest and most unified movement of (mostly) Black folks working on a common agenda since the Civil Rights era.
Learn more about the NHHPC and how you can get involved at HipHopConvention.org or 2006HipHopConvention.com. I have more pics and some video from the convention that I’ll be uploading soon.
